In our non-stop and on-the-go culture, our teens rarely take the time to really gauge their hunger or eat with intention. It is easy for them to eat too fast, too much, and when they aren't even hungry.

In this workshop, your teen will explore what mindful eating is and how to practice it daily. They will leave with useful tips on how to start eating with more intention so that they can develop a positive relationship with food from an early age as well as enhance their overall eating experience.

 
 

The Impact of Sugar on Mood, Energy, and Willpower

Your teen will explore the impact of sugar on their brain chemistry and start to understand how sugar can negatively impact their mood and energy levels. They will also learn why the concept of self-control and willpower is a total myth.

They will begin to build their awareness of how much sugar they consume by learning how to read a food label and quickly identify the various sources of sugar in a product as well as calculate the overall sugar content.

Your teen will leave with solid strategies to help them decrease their overall sugar consumption, rewire their brain to experience fewer cravings, and take control without deprivation.

 
 

Always Hungry? The Secret to Creating Satisfaction After every Meal

You can be full without being satisfied. And without satisfaction, you will always feel hungry. In this workshop, your teen will explore the secret to satisfaction. They will learn the difference between being full and being satisfied as well as start to develop an understanding of the food and non-food factors that contribute to true satisfaction. Your teen will also learn how to take proactive measures to encourage satisfaction after every meal.

Eating for Energy and Athletic Performance

The foods your teen eats affect their energy levels, their ability to stay focused, and their athletic performance. In this workshop, your teen will learn which foods increase energy as well as those that drain it. They will also gain an understanding of how to create nutritional balance and establish a strong eating foundation. They will leave the workshop with knowledge of how to consistently give their body the fuel that will optimize their mental and physical performance and allow them to be at their best.
